Caring for Your Loved One
Resources and Support
for Families and Caregivers
Caring for someone who has suffered a brain injury or spinal cord injury is difficult, even for trained medical professionals. When you have had little or no medical training and that someone you're now caring for is a family member, someone who only a short time ago was just as normal and able to take care of themselves as you are — it can be even more difficult, and at times, frustrating and counterproductive as well.
You don't have to face this alone. There are people who want to help, who understand what you're going through and who can make this journey an easier one for all concerned.
At the Law Offices of Renee J. Nordstrand, winning legal battles to obtain compensation for victims of negligence is only part of what we feel is our responsibility to help the people we represent. An equally important part involves doing what we can to help them restore dignity, quality and some sense of normalcy to their lives.
In brain and spinal cord injury cases, we help clients and families find appropriate medical care and in-home nursing providers. We connect them with brain and spinal cord injury support groups in their areas. We put them in touch with respected organizations such as The National Spinal Cord Injury Association and The Brain Injury Association of America.
